Lindsay Lohan has finally confirmed her relationship with Samantha Ronson - and revealed that their lesbian love affair has been going on for "a very long time."

Reports that the pair are more than just good friends surfaced earlier this year but the couple have kept the public guessing...until now.

A U.S. radio DJ called Lindsay to speak about the Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein plane crash but the conversation inevitably turned to her love life:

"Now, you guys, you and Samantha, have been going out for how long now? Like two years? One year? Five months? Two months?," asked the Loveline host.

The Mean Girls star giggled before responding, "A long... a very long time."
