Miley Cyrus has denied rumours of a rift with Disney over her alleged unprofessionalism on the set of hit show Hannah Montana.

It has been claimed that Miley and dad Billy Ray have been turning uo late and holding up filming because the pair want out of their contract so they can concentrate on the teen queen's music career.

Not true, says Miley.

The actress has gone on the record, saying, "I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It's what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people.

"I couldn't do it alone. We have an amazing cast that is so supportive, including my dad who has been there for me every step of the way.

"I'm really excited about our new season. We are making great new episodes that I can't wait for our fans to see."

A source close to the Disney actress adds, "Miley is used to all of the gossip about her personal life, but when people are attacking her professionalism, it upsets her because she works really hard."
