TV comedy series 30 Rock received top honours with the award for Outstanding Comedy Series at the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards last night.
The hit show saw creator Tina Fey and star Alec Baldwin triumph, sweeping up Outstanding Lead Actress and Actor for their roles on the show.
When Tina took to the stage to pick up her prize she joked around with the audience about her talent.
"I thank my parents for somehow raising me to have confidence that is disproportionate with my looks and abilities. Well done. That is what all parents should do."
Meanwhile TV series Mad Men claimed its own top honour for Outstanding Drama Series.
Actress Glenn Close also triumphed, picking up an honour for her lead role on dramatic series Damages.
Glenn paid tribute to actresses in her category: "We're proving that complicated, powerful, mature women are sexy and are high entertainment and can carry a show. I call us the sisterhood of the TV drama divas."
In a first-time category, Best Reality-TV Competition went to Amazing Race, the show's sixth award.
It was a night of thrills and spills with Oprah opening the glitzy event and TV reality stars hosted the show including American Idol's Ryan Seacrest and Project Runway's Heidi Klum.
