Miley Cyrus, Jessica Alba, Mischa Barton and Vanessa Hudgens are putting their collective star status to good use by designing statement T-shirts for their favourite charities.

The creative ladies have put their talents on display and each made a Spread the Love shirt that will be sold at $50 each.

A proportion of the tops’ proceeds will be donated to the stars' chosen cause.

The Hannah Montana star’s design will benefit the Family Crisis Centre, while new mum Jessica’s shirt will go to help out the StepUp Women’s Network, and she was more than happy to show off her fashion skills.

"I had a blast being creative and designing this tee shirt, and I know whenever I see these tees on women, I’ll be reminded to Spread the Love'!," Jess says.

Actress Alyssa Milano has also got to work for the charity drive - she is donating her T-shirt's proceeds to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) of which she is an ambassador.

"It is fun to mix fashion and charity. The cute tank makes a statement, and helps UNICEF increase public awareness of the challenges facing the world s children and create positive change around the globe," she tells People.
