Kate Beckinsale and Heidi Montag made unfortunate fashion statements at the fourth annual Pink Party on Saturday.

Kate - who hosted the event to benefit Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Research Institute - turned up in a sheer pink number that seemed to consist entirely of frills.

But the Pearl Harbour star was not the only star to to turn heads for all the wrong reasons – Heidi Montag turned up in a baggy black outfit that did nothing for her surgically-enhanced frame.

And what was with that hair?
