Britney Spears' triumph at the Video Music Awards has her record label buzzing about a full-on chart comeback.

If her management and record label have their way, people will see the troubled singer reclaim her former glory with a new album, set to be released before Christmas.

Over the past two years Britney's life has made headline news for all the wrong reasons.

But Camp Britney feel that this album could seal the deal as far as her a bona fide comeback is concerned.

A source tells The Sun, “Britney’s last album, Blackout, was released in the middle of her meltdown and carried negative associations.

“It did OK but wasn’t as big as her previous releases. Label chiefs vowed her private life would never be allowed to overshadow her career again.

“However, they’ve been astonished by how well she’s managed to piece her life back together.”
