Jonas Brothers, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna's VMAs Backstage Demands

Who's been requesting champagne, sushi & chapstick?...

Thursday 11th Sep 2008

Christina Aguilera and The Jonas Brothers are among the list of divas who demanded star treatment backstage at the VMA’s.

Xtina’s ridiculous demands reportedly included four black bath towels and a dressing room decked out with vanilla-scented candles, not to mention a space heater and two bottles of Verve Clique champagne to give her a little kick before the show.

The Jonas Brothers are said to have insisted on apple juice at room temperature for their backstage needs and added eight Red Bull Sugar free beverages, plus 6 regular Red Bulls and 24 pieces of California sushi rolls as part of their dressing room package.

According to In Touch, Rihanna also has a candle fetish, requesting Trish McEvoy blueberry candles - but it’s her food demands that are the wackiest: Buffalo wings and roasted chicken, spiced especially with jerk seasoning.

Kid Rock also likes dry-free lips after his request for Chap Stick was put to the MTV staff – as well as white crew socks and low fat raspberry yoghurts.

Apparently the four acts' demands were met. We hope the Jonas trio didn’t throw a fit if only 23 sushi rolls turned up.

They may have had their work cut out but it looks like the bods at MTV managed to keep their picky stars happy on the night...

Poll  Are these stars spoilt?

Yes - Who do they think they are!

No - They work really hard
