Rumours surfaced of the 'golden' couple's emotional detachment when Brad was seen laughing without a care in the world at the recent Toronto Film Festival – also where he reportedly met up with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.

Meanwhile the Tomb Raider star – famous for trekking the globe adopting children – has been confined to their French chateau with six kids for months now.

According to a U.S. publication, Brad was overheard explaining his hasty departure from the festival, complaining that, “Angelina was desperate for him to get back and help with the kids.”
