While Victoria Beckham has been showing off her new pixie cut at New York Fashion Week, Beyonce was surprising the audience at Conde Nast's Fashion Rocks with a new hairstyle of her own.

The Crazy In Love singer  took to the stage to croon a few tunes at event sporting a frumpy blond new do.

But she wasn't trying to kick-start any new trends with her aging 'do' - she was paying tribute to the singing legend Etta James, whom she portrays in upcoming movie Cadillac Records.

And it wasn't just her bright locks that attracted attention - Beyonce happliy flaunted a $5 million wedding ring, confiming rumours that she married Jay-Z earlier this year.
