Paris Hilton has spoken out in defence of the Jonas Brothers after they were ridiculed by Russell Brand at the VMA’s for being virgins.
The pop trio wear purity rings as a sign of their no-sex-before-marriage morals but were the butt of the British comedian’s jokes who claimed “sex never hurt anybody.”
Socialite Paris has now become the latest celebrity to speak out on behalf of the three siblings, insisting she supports the Jonas Brothers’ vows to save themselves for marriage.
"Don't pick on them. That's (their virginity) something cool for a kid to keep, so don't pick on them for that,” she tells Usweekly.
"I think that they're all really good kids and that they're definitely our next generation of kids and they're all really good so I think that's awesome."
Russell was forced to apologise at the awards after Jordin Sparks – who also wears a purity ring – laid into the comic for going too far.
Paris looked all partied out leaving Chateau Marmont after an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty with Benji Madden..
