Amy Winehouse Gets Drunk & Collapses At Bestival

But, hey, at least she showed up...

Amy Winehouse showed up at Bestival on Saturday, late, moody and drunk - before collapsing on stage and forgetting the words to one of her songs. But, hey, at least she showed!

The Rehab singer arrived late to a crowd of disgruntled fans. It was later reported that she was insistent the ground dried before she left her car.

Leading up to her performance, the soulful star reportedly indulged on her favourite tipple, Jack Daniels, causing her to fall flat on her face during her set.

After being helped to her feet she then proceeded to forget the words to Back To Black.

The Mirror quotes a source as saying, "She changed songs half way through, saying 'Switch to Rehab. Faster, faster. We have got one song left but I know you ain't that bothered'."

  • August 2007: K overdose, minutes without breathing and a coma. Then January valium/coke binge. Staph infection Febraury/March/April wrecks face-throat-lungs. Then K-or-PCP poisoning in July. Reduced Participation and Threat to Self as per MCA-2007. So why is this individual not in a 24/7 mental care facility ??? Some thugs shovel her on stage and collects a large sum ? Amy is become a two-legged staggering cheque-book, not a human being. Meanwhile, Labour outlawed fox hunting....

  • I have two questions. 1) why hasn't anyone done to her what they did to Britney? 2) why are people even letting her play shows at any venue? She is so messed up, I feel sorry for her fans. The poor woman needs to get help, she is killing herself.

  • It's another "Gia" case, use them and who cares if their abusing as long as the pay cheque is rolling in. Frankly the media should turn off their camera's and stop promoting the downfall of one of the most talented singers I've seen in years (yes she's a total basketcase but a talent none the less). Someone needs to do an intervention, the record company should be dropping her until she gets cleaned up and for God's sakes SOMEONE should give a rats ass about what happens to her!

  • Self-hate is a terrible thing. We are watching one long slow suicide. She definitely cannot take care of herself and an intervention is needed if she is going to survive. She needs mental and medical assistance stat. Such a tremendous talent and, yes, l agree with some of the comments previously made: leeches are making money off of Amy. And lord knows what will happen when that uber-leech, her husband, gets out of prison.
