Following the success of their film Camp Rock, the Jonas Brothers have decided to put their talents into television acting with a new show.
The Disney project originally depicted the boy band living a double life as spies but writers have simplified storylines, so audiences can identify with their on screen idols.
Joe Jonas tells ELLEgirl magazine, “It's going to be about us as a band but dealing with normal things like trying to take out the trash and not get hounded by fans.
"It's going to be a funny show, and it's going to be a great cast."
The brothers will not begin filming until mid September because of their busy schedules.
In an interview with presenter Ryan Seacrest they said they are thrilled about the show.
"The writers are working on it as we speak, so we should be seeing scripts any day. I'm really excited."
