It's claimed that David Duchovny cheated on his wife Tea Leoni years before seeking help for his sex addiction.  

Tea reportedly threatened to divorce the X Files star after she learned of his addictions, prompting David to act quickly to save their marriage.

A source tells the National Enquirer, “He said Tea gave him an ultimatum: Get treatment or our marriage is over.

“She felt it was ruining their marriage and affecting their kids.”

The couple have been married for 11 years and have a nine-year-old daughter, Madeline-West and six-year-old son, Kyd.   

The source added that David’s addiction means he finds women irresistible and cannot turn down their offers.

He is also said to have cheated on a string of girlfriends in the 90s.

Ironically David plays a man obsessed with sex on his TV show, Californication.
