It looks like Britney Spears may take to the stage at at this month's Video Music Awards after all.
The singer's manager Larry Rudolph has denied that Britney will be performing at the awards ceremony, but it's rumoured that she will carry out her much-anticipated come back as a presenter instead.
Taking centre stage as a presenter seems to be a smart move by Britney and her people after last year’s tragic performance of Gimme More.
No-one at MTV will confirm or deny these rumours, however, according to Fox News, an inside source has revealed that the singer will receive preferential treatment in the form of a dressing room – unlike her fellow presenters.
The princess of pop has already RSVP’d to 944 Magazine’s MTV VMA pre-party, at Kress in Hollywood this Wednesday.
This will be her first scheduled public appearance since she launched Las Vegas club LAX one year ago.
