Tom Cruise has reportedly been taking dieting advice from England’s most famous footballer, David Beckham.
The Top Gun star is said to have shed 10 pounds in six weeks after taking on a strict training regime and healthy eating plan.
Tom and his wife, Katie Holmes, became best friends with the Beckhams after their move to Los Angeles in 2007.
While Katie’s Posh transformation seemed to take only weeks, Tom’s wannabe Beckham look has followed on one year later.
A source tells the Daily Mail, "David has been round at Tom's house a lot. While Katie and Victoria have been swapping fashion tips on the phone, David has been advising Tom on diet.
"Tom has a private gym at his home and David has been working out with him. David put together a work-out regime that included the treadmill, weight training and fencing lessons together."
Tom’s diet of grilled chicken and fish, vegetables, salads and fruit have all helped to shed the excess weight.
The reason Tom is fighting fit appears to be because of his young family.
The source adds, "He turned 46 this summer and he's got a 29-year-old wife and a young family so he wanted to get back in shape."
