Melanie C Is Pregnant!

Sporty Spice Melanie Chisholm is expecting her first child, she announced last night.

Mel C is the only Spice Girl who has not yet had a baby and it seems as though her pregnancy was unplanned – as the singer announced only two weeks ago she didn’t want a baby yet.

“Everybody asks whether I’m going to be next or whether I’m trying. I hate to disappoint people, but the answer is ‘no’,” she said.

The baby’s father is property developer Thomas Starr, whom she has been with for six years.

“Mel’s absolutely delighted with the news,” a friend tells The Sun.

At least Mel won't be shott of baby advice from the other ex-Spice mothers.
