Jennifer Aniston's Heart-To-Heart With Brad Pitt Over John Mayer

The actress turns to her ex following her latest break-up...

Thursday 21st Aug 2008

After a very public split from boyfriend John Mayer, Jennifer Aniston has turned to her ex-husband Brad Pit for support, reports claim.

The unlucky-in-love actress reportedly made an "emotional late-night call" to her ex - whom she split from three years ago - looking for comfort over her latest break-up.

"The long-distance heart-to-heart actually began when Jen — desperate for a sympathetic ear — called her former mother-in-law, Jane Pitt, at Château Miraval, where she's staying with Brad, Angelina Jolie and their brood," a source tells Star.

"Jen still calls Jane all the time, and she really needed someone to talk to."

When Jane apparently handed the phone to her son, Brad was there to listen to his ex-wife.

"At first, he didn't know what to say," says the insider. "But he listened very intently and tried to comfort her. He was very patient and attentive."

Jennifer's break-up was rather sour as reports claim the guitarist coldly ended the relationship by text.

Rumours circulated that it was Jen's desperation to get married and start a family that scared off the guitarist.

"She is so intent on getting married and having children, he felt hemmed in,” a source told the Daily Mirror.

Poll  Is it a good thing that Jen still talks to Brad?

Yes - It's nice that they have stayed friends

  • I hope she is over Brad but 3 years isnt really that long to mend a broken heart especially since they were married. :)

  • I hope Jen is over Brad but who knows? I say 3 years isn't very long to get over a broken heart when you were married to someone. I dont think Jen wanted to end the marriage but really had no choice since Brad was into Angie by then. As far as the story goes....I dont believe she cried on Brad's shoulder but even if she did i dont see her ever admitting it which is the only way i would believe it. Love you Jen.
