Jennifer Aniston has called suggestions that she uses her eventful love life to get publicity "way below the belt".
The actress has had several high-profile relationships since splitting from husband Brad Pitt but none has gone the distance.
This week, it was reported that she and boyfriend of a few months, John Mayer, have called it quits.
And Aniston is furious she has been accused of using her romances to drum up attention for her films.
"I usually go about ignoring such things but when someone says - as has often been incorrectly alleged - I'd abuse a romantic attachment as a publicity stunt or to promote a new movie of mine, that's really just way below the belt," she tells Hello.
"To love and be loved is the most beautiful thing that can happen to a person, and one's own life is much more important than all the glamour and fame in the world."
