Sienna Miller's Mother: 'I Don't Understand The Scandal'

The harsh criticism that Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty’s romance has been getting is incomprehensible, believes the actress’s mother.

Having recently split from British actor Rhys Ifans, the Alfie star quickly embarked on a relationship with Brothers And Sisters actor Balthazar, despite him still being married.

However, the couple have been quick to explain that Balthazar is separated from his wife Rosetta, and has been for many months.

This hasn’t stopped the media branding Sienna a homewrecker though, causing her mother Jo to leap to her defence.

She says: "You can't understand how a woman seeing a man who has been separated from his wife for months can cause such a scandal.

"It's awful, I can't tell you. You wonder when it's all going to stop."

But Miller is pleased how some pals have jumped to her daughter's defence.

She adds: "Thank goodness some people are seeing the hypocrisy of it all. I know it makes Sienna pleased to read these things. It means a lot to her when there's so much negativity and criticism around."
