Amy Winehouse To Start Work On New Album

Amy Winehouse is making a start of recording her new album, and hopes to have it almost complete before her husband Blake Fielder-Civil is released from jail.

The troubled singer has had a number of health scares this year, including impetigo, emphysema and random fainting fits.

But now that she knows her husband will soon be out of jail after serving time for grievous bodily harm, Wino wants to impress him with some new tracks to form a follow-up to her Grammy award winning album Back To Black.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun: "Now she has some kind of time-scale for Blake's release it has given her some focus.

“She wants something to impress him with because he has accused her of just sitting around doing nothing while he has been serving time."
