Peaches Geldof Marries In Shotgun Vegas Wedding

Peaches Geldof is now the new Mrs Drummey, after getting married in a shotgun Las Vegas wedding to rocker boyfriend Max Drummey last week.

The daughter of Sir Bob Geldof has been in the news recently for reported drug overdoses, and the spotlight has fallen on her yet again because of her rushed marraige.

The 19-year old met Max, drummer of rock band Chester French, two years ago, and the pair confirmed their union took place while they were holidaying in America last week.

A spokesperson for Peaches released a statement saying: "Peaches and Max Drummey are delighted to announce their very happy marriage. The couple tied the knot in a simple low-key ceremony in Las Vegas last week.

"Their marriage has the full support of their family and friends. Peaches and Max did not want unnecessary publicity, but following growing media speculation, have decided to set out the facts. No further comment from either will be forthcoming."
