Britney Spears will not be portraying a killer lesbian stripper on the big screen, according to her rep.

It was reported that the recovering pop wreck had been approached by Quentin Tarentino to star in a remake of the 1965 cult movie Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

Brit would supposedly have been required to participate in same sex love scenes for the role - and kill a man with her bare hands.

But a spokesperson for the star has shot down the story.

"Though she definitely intends to explore acting roles down the road, right now she's concentrating on recording her next album," a rep told Access Hollywood.

A source close to Quentin Tarantino also told Access," "There is no truth to this."
