Another day, another failed romance in LA. This time the departed lovebirds are Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong, according to online reports.

The couple had been linked since they were photographed kissing and cuddling during a party at the Cannes International Film Festival in France in May.

They further fuelled rumours of a romance after they spent Father's Day in the U.S. together last month with their kids from previous relationships.

Hudson was also spotted introducing the cyclist to her actress mum Goldie Hawn at a California restaurant earlier this month.

However, Perez Hilton claims the pair have decided to call it a day.

It's not the first celebrity relationship that has ended for the duo - Hudson split from actor Owen Wilson in May, while Armstrong was previously engaged to singer Sheryl Crow.
