'Mariah Carey Wants Nick Cannon To Get A Real Job'

Mariah Carey wants her husband Nick Cannon to get a “real job” and stop eating into her own hard-earned cash, according to new reports.

The couple married earlier this year following a whirlwind romance, although sceptics don’t think their relationship will last. Could fame and fortune get in the way of their happy union?

A friend close to the E=MC2 songstress told Life & Style magazine: “Mariah wants him to at least have the status that DJ AM had when he was dating Nicole Richie.
 
“She wants him to start modelling,” the source continues. “She wants him to start meeting with well-known designers.”

As for Mariah taking care of her husband’s career, the source added: “He’s not upset; he thinks it’s a great idea. He knows Mariah wants him to become more famous.”
