Amy Winehouse’s waxwork model at Madame Tussauds is not a true representation says her father Mitch, because the troubled singer has since put on weight in a bid to get well.
Having been at the centre of numerous health problems, including impetigo, emphysema and rehab visits to battle drink and drugs demons, the beehived singer has shrunk in size prompted a string of rumours she was battling anorexia.
But the star's father, who yesterday unveiled a waxwork of his daughter at London's Madame Tussauds, insists she has piled on a stone and a half (21 pounds/9.5 kilograms) in weight since the height of her health worries.
He tells WENN: "She's not as thin as that.
"But, she has put on about a stone and a half since then, so maybe she is too thin, but she's trying."
