Amy Winehouse Helps Drug Addicts

Amy Winehouse has reportedly decided to put her extensive experience of drug taking to good use by helping other addicts.

"Amy feels so much better in herself and has decided she wants to make a difference and give something back to people who are battling with addictions,” says an insider.

"Despite what's being said, she's doing really well and has turned a corner.

"She's looking for a new house to start afresh and desperately wants to get her life back on track."

The troubled singer is already being proactive about helping others with substance abuse problems, according to a friend.

"She's spoken to rehab centers and addiction clinics about doing volunteer work and has offered to do some talks to the in-patients about her experiences and how she overcame what have been some of the hardest, darkest days of her life," the pal tells Heat magazine.

"Her family have been a rock for her and she feels like she owes others something."
