Jennifer Aniston's dog is reportedly less enamoured with John Mayer than his owner.

Norman the Corgi-terrier cross is said to have taken such a "disliking" to the singer that two have to be kept apart.

"It's funny because John likes dogs but for some reason Norman has taken a disliking to him,” claims a source.

"Jennifer dotes on Norman. She treats him like a child but she's got to the point where she's had to keep him out of the way if John is around."

But Jennifer is still hoping that the men in her life can bond.

The source adds, "Jennifer is convinced it will get better the more she and John spend time together.

"Norman is just picky about people."

John has recently been spotted taking the discerning mutt for walks around Los Angeles.
