Nicole Kidman's decision not to sell photos of baby daughter Sunday Rose has less to do with integrity and more to do with holding out for the highest bidder, according to a new report.

Yesterday we reported on the actress's decision not to cash in on her newborn, despite receiving numerous offers.

"A number of publications called to offer money, but she never considered it," her rep told Page Six.

However, a US publication claims that this isn't the whole story.

"She wanted $3 million and we weren't going to pay that," says the New York Post's inside source, a gossip-rag editor.

$3 million isn't exactly ground-breaking when it comes to bagging exclusive rights to the first pictures of celebrity offspring.

Jennifer Lopez set a record in February with her $6 million deal for pictures of her twins, whilst some are predicting that snaps of the new Brangelina babes may fetch a staggering $20 million.

Even Matthew McConaughey reportedly got $3 million for his baby pics.
