Britney Spears will spend the summer recording a new album her manager Larry Rudolph has confirmed.
The confirmation comes after Spears was rumoured to be in the studio earlier this month with producers Jim Beanz and Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins.
Rudolph first claimed that the singer was recording “just for fun” but has now admitted that the follow up to last year's 'Blackout' is now in the works.
He said that she is “spending her summer in the recording studio, working on a brand new album."
He added: "She's working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters and we're very excited about what she's accomplished so far. No album release date has been confirmed yet."
Maybe we'll actually get to hear Spears sing on this record.
