Davina announced on Friday night that this week will see there being a leader of the Big Brother house elected and the house will then be divided into heaven and hell!
And the fun began on Saturday when the housemates were told by BB that they have to choose three candidates for election. It was also explained that the person eventually chosen to be leader would get immunity from nominations and they’d also get to choose what is included in the shopping list.
Rex took charge of choosing the three candidates making sure that everyone voted fairly for whom they wanted to stand and the candidates were chosen – Luke, Dale and Darnel.
It’s a good job Mario was evicted because otherwise we would have had to listen to him give his candidate speech: “I’m a facilitator, I facilitate people…”
After each candidate gave their speech - Dale wants the house to be a family, Luke wants a party and Darnel wants to be the voice of the house - the arguments began about who each person wanted as their leader.
Rex told everyone who wanted and didn’t want to listen that Luke would be no good because he is too influenced by Rebecca and Rebecca told everyone that Darnell would be awful as leader defiantly exclaiming: “ I will not do what he tells me!”
Much hilarity will ensue this week because not only do the housemates have a £1 per person per day budget, but they also have to listen and follow what one person says and when they don’t agree they can’t nominate them for eviction - Genius!
And who got elected as leader of the house? The wonderful Darnel of course! Rebecca for one is not going to be happy – looks like this week will see another fight night!
