Madonna To Attend Alex Rodriguez Party

Adding fuel to the fire that is Alex and Cynthia Rodriguez’s divorce, Madonna has confirmed that she will be attending a party hosted by the baseball player.

According to insiders, the pop superstar is not letting her latest romance scandal affect her social calander, and has RSVP’d to say she will be attending the New York Yankees star's 2008 Major League AllStar Game party at Jay-Z's 40/40 club in the Big Apple next week.

Madonna has recently denied having an affair with A-Rod and she insists she isn't to blame for the break-up of his marriage, despite reports she has become the baseball star's soulmate.

An event source tells Life & Style: "Madonna knows about the party and has said she is coming... She is a confirmed guest."

Cynthia’s lawyer earlier this week claimed that Madge and Alex were having an “affair of the heart” which is equally as bad as embarking on a sexual relationship.
