Justin Timberlake's Comedy Genius Prompts Jessica Alba Labour

Jessica Alba is convinced that her labour was triggered by the 'hilarious' antics of her The Love Guru co-star Justin Timberlake.

The new mother was watching a private Hollywood screening of the new film just two days before she was admitted to Los Angeles' Cedars Sinai Medical Center to give birth to daughter Honor Marie on 7 June.

And in a canny bit of PR her new movie, she insists that Timberlake's big screen comic turn got her baby ready for delivery.

She says, "I felt something go. I had been very careful of my movements and seating, but it was impossible to sit still when he (Timberlake) was on screen.

"I wouldn't go as far as saying my water broke, but it did feel as if I was actually splitting my sides. I felt completely drained afterwards."

Perhaps little Honor was trying to get away from Justin's comic brilliance?
