High School Musical 3: Senior Year has not even finished filming, but there is already talk about a fourth instalment featuring the Wild Cats of East High.

The future for movie's stars - Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) - seems uncertain, with both characters set to go their separate ways at the end of their senior year.

Will the demise of their on-screen romance put a strain on their real-life relationship?

It may not get to that stage as Disney bosses hoping to make more money from the couple’s relationship are looking at making a sequel that will follow the lovebirds as they embark on their freshman year in college.

According to a report in The Enqurier, Troy and Gabriella will attend different universities, but they soon start pining for each other and at the end of the movie will re-unite at their old High School where the romance first started.

But will Zac and Vanessa be able to make their relationship in the real world work out for the sake of a fourth movie?
