Nicole Kidman's $73K Birth Gift From Husband

Keith Urban has reportedly dropped $73,000 on a Cartier Trinity ring for pregnant wife Nicole Kidman.

The country singer intends to present the band  - which symbolises the three stages of a relationship: friendship, love and fidelity - to Nicole in the delivery room, according to insiders.

A source said, "It's three rings intertwined, so it's very symbolic.

"It's three turned into one and that's how it will be with Keith, Nicole and the new baby."

Katie Holmes - who is now married to Nicole's ex-husband Tom Cruise - is said to own the same ring.

Nicole and her generous hubby are currently holed up in Nashville, Tennessee preparing for the arrival of their first child, which is believed to be due within the next fortnight.
