The party spirit appeared to have deserted Lindsay Lohan when she was snapped celebrating her 22nd birthday with girlfriend Samantha Lohan yesterday.

Perhaps the sometime actress was still coming to terms with the fact that the proposed glittering affair had to be downsized to a small gathering for family and close friends – including sister Ali, mom Dina and girlfriend Samantha Ronson - after she failed to find a sponsor for the bash.

It was reported that the party would be held at the Roosevelt Hotel in L.A, where Lindsay had booked several suites and would be personally vetting the guests.
