Miley Cyrus' father has dismissed his daughter's recent controversies, insisting that it's the nature of Hollywood.
Addressing the subject of the fall-out from his daughter's nearly-naked photo shoot for Vanity Fair, Billy Ray Cyrus insists the harsh criticism is expected along with any major success.
He also adds he's not afraid by his daughter's marketability because she is happy with her burgeoning career despite recent hiccups.
Says Billy Ray, "For every action, there's an opposite and equal reaction and for every high, there's a low. That's just the way life is. She has a dream. She loves what she does for a living.
"(Miley) loves acting and she loves making music. And she gets the best of both worlds with this job."
Admittedly, Miley's recent scandals don't appear to have dented her earning capacity too much, being that she's still expected to be worth $1 billion by her 18th birthday, according to Conde Nast.
