Amy Winehouse failed to arrive at a Russian concert on time on Thursday, even though she was being paid £1 million ($2 million) an hour to perform exclusively.
The troubled star was set to perform for billionaire Roman Abramovich at the opening of his girlfriend's art gallery in Moscow, but arrived on stage two hours after her scheduled time of 10.30pm.
A source tells NY Daily News that Amy managed to get on a plane in London, but when she arrived in Moscow "she was in no condition to appear."
Organisers apparently tried to find a replacement to fill the slot, but there wasn’t enough time and as a result, her handlers "spent two hours trying to pull her together," says the insider.
When she did finally get on stage, she treated the front row to a little more than music – She wasn’t wearing underwear.
The source adds: "I heard that her singing was a little sloppy. But she still put on a terrific show."
