Chris Martin: Brad Pitt Is Hard To Live Up To

Chris Martin has revealed that he has never got used to the idea that his wife Gwyneth Paltrow used to be engaged to Brad Pitt.

The Coldplay frontman admits that he can't help comparing himself to his missus' ex – a fact which drives him to better himself.

"You've got to be hungry," he tells Rolling Stone.

"If your wife went out with Brad Pitt, you'd want to prove yourself, you know what I mean?"

Gywneth is unlikely to have any such worries as Chris also reveals in the interview that he's only ever "been in one serious relationship."
