A rep for Naomi Campbell claims that the recent tumble she took in Italy wasn't the result of a boozy night out but a sober game of “trust”.
The fiery model was snapped earlier this week seemingly unable to stand and surrounded by her male companions who appear to be helping her to her feet.
Reports suggested the star - who was holidaying on the Italian island of Capri - had become so drunk after a night of partying that she had to be carried back to her hotel by concerned pals.
However, the star's rep insists that the 38-year-old was just playing around with friends.
"It was just a bit of fun and not down to drink. Naomi was playing this trust game, where you fall into a friend's arms," the representative tells The Sun.
The spokeperson then went on to make this explanation sound even more unconvincing by adding, "It's very hot there, so that could also have had something to do with it."
