Apprentice winner Lee McQueen plans to celebrate his new £100,000-a-year job by booking some time off work to go on holiday.
The former salesman and CV fabricator (see below) beat off competition from firm favourite Claire Young to be told by Sir Alan Sugar in last night's final, “You’re hired.”
Now he plans to treat his girlfriend of nine years to a vacation.
He said: “One of the first things I’m going to have to do when I join Sir Alan’s company is ask him for some time off so we can go on holiday.
"And I should treat Nicola to something nice like some fancy new shoes.”
Many thought Lee had blown his chances of winning when it was revealed that he'd lied on his CV.
He claimed to have been to college for two years when in fact he dropped out after only four months.
Lee called his fib a “miscommunication” and “one of the biggest mistakes of my life”.
