Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon may not have invited friends or family to their secret nuptials, but it hasn’t stopped them from demanding wedding gifts.

The couple got married in a shotgun union at the E=MC2 songstress’ Bahamas pad in April without any guests in attendance.

However, according to Page Six, they are still accepting gifts. A source claims: "Mariah's assistant, Gina, sent out over 100 e-mails to her wealthy friends letting them know that she's registered at Bergdorf Goodman if they want to buy her a present.

“It's odd because she's not even having a big wedding party or anything. It was assumed they'd have a big celebration when they got back, but no. They just want the gifts."

On the list are "fine china, very expensive silver stemware" and other items. What do you think would be a good gift to get Mariah and Nick? Be sure to leave your comments below.

i don't think it's true. the post said that nobody was available for comment. Also states it was hearsay and nothing reported to them 1st hand. I guarantee it will be proven false by a week

I personally think that they should both get a gift that they both can cheris and have great memories with.......and that they can also share with their children(which mariah wants)and grandchildren and look back and say this is what they received on their wedding.i think their family and friends should send them something even if they didn't know about mariah and nick getting married(which nobody did).

I think that if there happy and in love than whatever have fun, enjoy being young and rich, I personaliy dont think that the marriage would last because mariah seems like shes into commitment and nicks not, but maybe people change, i just hope he isn't using her for fame for his new clothing line that wont sell without some good and huge exposer(marrying mariah carey)

All I can say is that this is PATHETIC! Even if she hadn't got the money she has, I would be EMBARASSED to ask for presents without inviting guests to the wedding. And then she doesn’t even want to PAY for her OWN wedding…? How bloody greedy can you be! But I am not surprised to be honest because I met her once at a TV Show in Germany. She was the most arrogant person with the biggest star attitude which spoiled my appreciation for her as an artist.
