Following John Mayer’s negative comments about Guitar Hero, The Jonas Brothers have come forward in defence of the video game.
Jennifer Aniston’s new man insists that playing a guitar for real gives much more pleasure than bashing buttons and believes that the console version is for people “who put nothing into it.”
However, the Jonas Brothers are keen endorsers of the game. Speaking exclusively to us at Entertainmentwise, eldest sibling Kevin admits: “Guitar Hero is a necessity for us.”
“I totally understand John Mayer’s perspective but for me I think it’s a great way to introduce the idea of an instrument to a generation of a young age.
“Maybe you would go on from there and transition into actually learning how to play and things like that.”
Not only skilled in the ways of a real axe, the 20-year old reveals he’s got the game playing ways nailed too: “I’m the Guitar Hero guru of the Jonas Brothers.”
