Britain's Got Talent Accused Of Rigging Votes ...more Simon Cowell »

The producers of Britian’s Got Talent have been accused of rigging the telephone vote by angry fans who are suspicious of those who have got through to the final.

Having been broadcast for the entire week in the lead-up to tomorrow night’s final, viewers have raised doubt over the voting system due to the fact that the four semi-finalists who performed last over the past four days have been voted through.

Michael Jackson dance act Signature, 13-year-old Andrew Johnston, 14-year old Singin’ In The Rain star George Sampson and 12-year old Faryl Smith were all the last acts to perform on their respected nights and got through to the final.

As a result, audiences have been quick to raise questions about the running order, suspecting the producers put their favourites on last so they would be freshest in the public's mind.

However, bosses at the ITV show have been quick to defend the show.  A spokeswoman told the Daily Mail: "The judges have no say over the running order of the show. The voting is all fair and balanced.

"It is also worth pointing out that acts which have appeared early on in the show have been coming in second and third in the public voting."

  • It is easy to find fault in a solo act but since tonight's winners played string instruments amongst full orchestral backing it was IMPOSSIBLE to separate/judge their performance! Again, they played last. No surprise there then. The backing track put them in the final and I am shocked that Simon Cowell didn't care to notice that they might as well be miming. Thigh struck, clearly. As for "original", a Google search finds dozens of similar (better?) female quartet acts available.

  • Ever noticed that the acts that win the semi-final each night are always standing in the same place when their names are called? On the far right, just under the stairs.. think about it.. Monday - Signature Tuesday - Andrew Johnston Wednesday - George Sampson Thursday - Faryl Smith Friday - Escala

  • I think the votes were fair because it dosen't even matter if they voted once because it is voted more by millions of people and it is not just going to be one vote in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
