Jessica Simpson Unveils New Country Single

Jessica Simpson wants you to Come On Over and listen to her new country song.

The 27-year old has been getting back to her country roots by working hard on country inspired album, and the first sampler has hit the internet.

Her first single Come On Over has Simpson singing in a southern drawl to the lyrics: "Just come on over/I need you now/I need you bad/I need you baby looking just like that."

Speaking to Billboard about the recording, she said: “I am a country girl. I grew up in Texas, and country music was what I listened to. I always wanted to make a country album, but I wanted to wait until the time was right."

  • While I'm not into country music, I agree with just about what most people are saying so far. The song is catchy. It's a happy flirty song & fits her personality. Her voice sounds really good although I prefer her doing her old ballads.
