Cancer-battling star Patrick Swayze enjoyed a night out at a basketball game with his wife on Friday night.

Swayze and wife Lisa Neimi, who reportedly recently renewed their wedding vows, took in the LA Lakers and San Antonio Spurs game.

A fellow spectator tells The People, “He was still gaunt and pale but compared with recent pictures it was a huge improvement.

“He was grinning all through, and kept cheering and clapping with the rest of the crowd.

"It was encouraging to see."
