Heath Ledger's Ex Makes First Public Appearance

Michelle Williams has made her first public appearance since her ex-partner Heath Ledger’s earlier this year.

The actress took to the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday to promote her new film ‘Wendy And Lucy’ following a last minute change of mind.

A spokesperson for the film tells The Sun, “It was decided on Monday night that she could come to Cannes, and she got on the next plane to arrive just in time to get dressed and come to our premiere.

“She came in and had a long nap and then came to the screening."

Williams has kept out of the public eye since Ledger - who she had her daughter Matilda  -Rose with in 2005 - died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in January.
