Eddie Murphy's Ex-Wife Denies Diddy Dates

Eddie Murphy's ex-wife Tracey Edmonds has blasted reports she's dating rap mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

In a recent British tabloid article, Edmonds was quoted referring to Diddy as her new man - but she insists the latest romantic link is all wrong.

A statement from Edmonds' publicist reads, "Tracey Edmonds never uttered the words quoted... The story is a complete fabrication."

The Daily Mirror reported that Edmonds, 41, called Diddy "the man for me," adding the rapper had "whisked me off my feet."

A representative for Diddy has also denied the pair is an item.

Edmonds split from Murphy in January, just weeks after they wed in Bora Bora on New Year's Day.

Diddy split from on-off girlfriend Kim Porter, the mother of his baby twin girls, last year. The couple has recently been romantically linked again.
