R Kelly has denied in court that he is the man shown in a video having sex with an underage girl.

The R&B star claims that a mole on his back proves his innocence because the man on the tape - shown in a Chicago court - doesn’t appear to have one.

Kelly’s lawyer Sam Adam also contends that the girl is a prostitute and not the alleged victim, who is believed to have been as young as 13 when the footage was shot between 1998 and 2000.

Prosecutors described the 26-minute video as containing, "Vile, disturbing and disgusting sex acts, actions that were choreographed, produced and starred in by Kelly."

The alleged victim - now in her 20s - denies being the girl in the tape and refuses to testify.

Kelly faces up to 15 years behind bars if convicted of 14 child porn charges.

The trial continues.
