Victoria Beckham and Paris Hilton brought London to a standstill yesterday when both stars promoted their respective products on the same day.

The two publicity queens were in different parts of the capital, with Posh venturing to Knightsbridge’s Harrods, while the heiress chose Oxford Street’s Selfridges to ply her wares.

Wearing a black corset and a pair of her own dVb branded 70’s inspired skinny flare jeans, the wife of soccer star David looked uncomfortable as she posed for photographers.

Two miles down the road, Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden played groupie as he watched his girlfriend wow the crowds with her wide smile and quirky headpiece while parading her new fragrance Can Can.
