Ashlee Simpson Slams 'Trashy' Britney Spears

Ashlee Simpson has labeled her fellow pop tart and lip-syncher Britney Spears ‘trashy.’

The singer made the offhand comment during her appearance on UK Channel 4 show, the Nokia Green Room.

"In an interview the other day, they asked me what I thought, 'You've had one too many Britney Spears' means," Ashlee said.

"I was like, 'What?' And they said it means you've had one too many beers."

"I was like, 'Oh, you've had one too many trashy girls!"

To be fair, the possibly-pregnant star did express some remorse for her flippant remark.

"I was like, 'Oh my God, I can't believe I just said that!" said Ashlee. "It was really bad. I felt horrible."
